Even though you feel like you’re in the country, you have that community that is close by and we have made friends here. Especially our neighbour next door. We keep an eye on each other’s places when we’re away. It’s the best of both worlds here.” — Linda

“The lot we ended up getting was my favourite part of Sarilia. When we first visited, I parked my car at a lookout point, and I was like, oh this is the million-dollar view.” — Kelsee

Then I just started looking at other houses in the area and found the one that we bought. “Sarilia feels a little bit safer. There’s less traffic and you know your neighbours. We know everybody. You look out for each other in that respect. There’s lots of young kids out here too — a lot of young families are moving in.” — Vaughn

“I think the Little Free Library is a great addition to our community. Literacy is so important for everyone and it’s in a great area to just stop and grab something while out for a walk. My daughter gets super excited when we go down to see what’s new. We are constantly reading, I’m a bit of a book worm and she’s definitely picked up that trait!” — Kayla
